This Privacy Policy explains what information the Pakistani Serials mobile app (“the app”) collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. By installing or using the app you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

Who we are

Pakistani Serials is an independent Android application that lists publicly available Pakistani drama episodes hosted on third-party video sites. The app is distributed free of charge.

Accounts

The app does not require you to sign up, sign in, or create an account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, date of birth, or any personally identifying information.

What we collect

• Device & usage data (automatic): Android version, device model, app version, language preference, crash reports, and aggregate usage events (for example, screens opened or buttons tapped). This is handled by Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics).
• Watchlist (on your device only): the dramas you add to “My List” are stored locally on your device. They never leave your device.
• Network requests to our backend: when the app loads content, it contacts our API (pak-ott.animekill.com). Our servers receive your IP address and request time in their access logs. This is kept for up to 30 days and used only for security/abuse monitoring.
• Third-party video players: episodes are played by embedding the external provider’s player (Dailymotion, YouTube, etc.). When you watch an episode, that provider may set its own cookies and collect its own telemetry, independent of this app. Please read their privacy policies.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, microphone audio, SMS messages, call logs, or browsing history.

How the data is used

• Keep the app running reliably (diagnosing crashes, performance).
• Understand which features are used, so we know what to improve.
• Prevent abuse of the backend (rate-limits, bot detection).

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party ad networks in the app. We do not build advertising profiles about you.

Who we share data with

• Google Firebase — processes analytics events and crash reports on our behalf.
• Video providers (Dailymotion, YouTube, and similar) — when you play an episode, the embedded player contacts them directly.
• Law enforcement — only if compelled by a valid legal request.

Your choices

• Turn off analytics: in your device’s system settings you can disable Google Analytics for this app, or uninstall it.
• Clear watchlist: delete the app’s data from Android Settings → Apps → Pakistani Serials → Storage → Clear data.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, please email us so we can delete it.

Retention

Anonymous analytics and crash reports are retained according to Firebase’s default retention windows (up to 14 months). Server access logs are deleted after 30 days. Your watchlist lives only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will also be announced inside the app on the next launch.
